Hi! I'm Kamal Dhingra
Welcome to my AI Security Corner.
Who am I?
I’m a cybersecurity architecture professional with 25+ years leading enterprise security, cloud security, application/product security, and — most recently — AI security transformation. My work has spanned global enterprise, financial services, hospitality, healthcare, and federal environments, which means I’ve seen security problems from a lot of different angles: regulated products, large-scale cloud estates, customer-facing platforms, and mission-critical government systems.
These days my focus is on securing AI — GenAI, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems — threat modeling, model/inference security, AI control planes, and secure-by-design governance for AI adoption and helping organizations build AI adoption on a foundation that’s secure by design rather than secured as an afterthought.
Credentials: TAISE . CISSP · CISM · CCSP · CCSK · TOGAF9 · SABSA(F) · AWS AI Practitioner · Azure AI Fundamentals
What I do
-
AI Security Architecture — Secure AI lifecycle design, GenAI/RAG security, agentic system security, model and inference security, MLSecOps, AI threat modeling, and AI control plane design.
-
Enterprise & Cloud Security — Zero Trust, IAM, CSPM, DevSecOps, CI/CD and software supply chain security.
-
Product & Application Security — Secure SDLC, threat modeling, penetration testing programs, and secure-by-design governance for both regulated and non-regulated products, including medical device cybersecurity.
-
Executive & CISO Advisory — Translating technical risk into investment roadmaps, governance models, and decisions that executives and boards can act on.
-
Open Source — I believe in the power of open source. Currently, developing a “Secure Agent Trust Framework (SATF)” for End-to-End Enterprise Framework for Autonomous Agent Governance and Contextual Security and for Safe, trusted and secure outcomes. You can find this projects on GitHub SATF.
-
Continuous Learning — Always exploring new tools, frameworks, and concepts. Technology (and now AI Security Architecture) evolves fast, and I like to keep pace with it.
-
AI security leadership — Developed secure AI lifecycle guidance (ZT, Supply Chain), GenAI/RAG security frameworks, agentic system threat models, and AI control plane concepts adopted at enterprise scale.
-
Community contribution — Founding contributor and review panel member for the Cloud Security Alliance’s Trusted AI Safety Expert (TAISE) certification, helping shape curriculum and exam content alongside CSA and Northeastern University.
